2007 Josh Cellars Josh Pinot Noir: From Santa Cruz, California. Blended and bottled by Joseph Carr.  "My fathers name was Joseph, as is mine, but his friends just called him Josh. Growers, that I call friends, all lend a hand in this. "Winemakers Wine", that we jokingly refer to as "Vin de Garage"; a handcrafted wine we made just for ourselves. This vintage shows bright, complex, cherry and strawberry nuances, matched with a hint of smoke and earth, alongside soft tannins. A wine that is bold and expressive but unassuming, and approachable. Funny, how these characteristics seem to remind me of someone that I knew. It's a wine I made for my family, my friends, and the man I called Dad." www.joshcellars.com.
